Link Hamson has released the Microlabeller 500 Series of thermal transfer, label printing systems, with extensive text, graphics and bar code capabilities. Three basic versions are available, enabling a choice of print resolution combined with easy to use software to provide a labelling solution for a wide range of applications.

 The rugged labelling system is easy to install and program, and is simple to use, enabling full control over in-house label production. Print resolution can be 200 or 300 DPI and three different software packages enable budget to fine label printing according to requirements.
 
 All systems feature a full graphic display with WYSIWYG, fully functional text editing and test label printing. Serial numbers can be printed incrementally and decrementally, in steps of 1 to 100, in a host of formats including decimal, alphanumeric and hexadecimal. Serial numbers can also be printed in multiples.
 
 Top of the range ML-512 is PC controlled in the familiar Windows 3.1 graphics and icon based environment, providing virtually unlimited user programmable label formats. The system features a full colour display, with on-line help and step label printing. The system incorporates a range of fonts as well as compatibility with standard Windows and Trutype fonts. All text and graphics are scaleable and all text, graphics and bar codes are rotatable for extremely easy label design. Graphics can be generated in PC Paint or imported from other software packages including BMP graphics in colour and monochrome.
 
 ML-512 bar code printing capabilities include Code 39, Interleaved 2 of 5, Code 128 A, B and C, Codabar, EAN-8 and 13, UPC-A and C and Postnet, with full control and height adjustment.
 
 Microlabeller ML-509 operates in conjunction with a 286, DOS based PC, with mouse or keyboard control. The system can also be used to generate label graphics. It features 20 standard label formats and incorporates 13 standard, scaleable fonts. Text, graphics and bar codes are all rotatable. Bar code printing capabilities include Code 329, Interleaved 2 or 5, Code 128B, Codabar and Code 93, all with full height adjustment.
 
 Microlabeller ML-505 operates in conjunction with a minimum specification 286 DOS based PC and produces labels in ten basic formats using seven standard fonts. Bar code capabilities include Code 39, Interleaved 2 of 5, Code 128A, Codabar, Code 93, EAN-13, UPC-A and Postnet with full height adjustment.
 
 The thermal transfer printers incorporate a 4.1 inch, 203 DPI printhead as standard providing a print speed of five inches. Optionally available is a five inch, 305 DPI print head, providing the higher resolution at print speeds of up to seven inches.
 
 Link Hamson is also able to supply a wide range of label media sizes and types to cover the most exacting requirements in industrial and other hostile environments.
